Oscar Meyer Introduces the Bacon Alarm for Your iPhone

Bacon Lovers rejoice.  Soon you will be able to wake up to the smell of bacon, even if nobody got out of bed to cook it.  The aroma will come out of your iPhone.

Yeah, I thought it was fake too. But apparently it is real.  Oscar Meyer is behind it.

So how is the Bacon Alarm possible?  Well it’s because of something called a dongle.  It plugs into the iPhone's headphone jack and you pair it up with an iOS app.  Then when the alarm goes off the smell of bacon is released.

It’s like one of those automatic release air fresheners, only for your phone.  The dongle comes with liquid smell for refills.
