There's a new teen center coming to Killeen, and they're looking for mentors!

Do you enjoy speaking to the youth? Do you have a skill that you could teach to the younger generation?

ImPossible Teen Center is now looking for adults interested in becoming a mentor and or teaching a skill to the youth!

The ImPossible Center is a teen mentoring and sports program located at 405 South 2nd Street in  Killeen. Founded in 2016, the program provides teens a supervised environment to express themselves while learning new skills and trades.

Over the last couple of months, the program has been preparing to open their doors to the community. The official grand opening is happening on November 2nd, 2020.

If you feel that you are the perfect fit for the mentoring program, you must submit your application by October 17th.

You can apply for a position as a mentor with ImPossible using this Google Form. For more information about the program or to reach out with any questions or concerns, visit ipsctx.org or their Facebook page. You can also give them a call at (254) 630-1955 or email them at impossiblectx@gmail.com.

The primary mission of ImPossible is what they call "mindset training", which involves teaching local youth how to think positively, set goals, solve problems, and work as part of a team while holding themselves accountable. They do this with courses in job creation and training, coding, e-commerce, website building, sports, and entrepreneurship.

If that sounds like something you'd love to be involved in, they could use your enthusiasm and passion.

ImPossible is a 501c(3) charity, and if you'd like to help them in their mission to serve youth here in Central Texas, they'd certainly welcome that. Check out ipsctx.org/why_donate for details.
