The City of Killeen is partnering with two other organizations to construct an outdoor fitness court for everyone to enjoy.

Our news partners at KWTX report that the Killeen City Council voted Tuesday night to enter an agreement with the Junior Service League of Killeen on the project, which is estimated to cost $135,000. The JSL will donate $75,000, and the City will contribute an additional $30,000. Grant funds will come from the National Fitness Campaign.

The court would be open to people of all ages and at all fitness levels. A schedule for construction and completion is pending.
