At the start of last years MLB season, Texas Rangers catcher Mike Napoli committed the ultimate baseball sin.  Telling the Rangers that he was going to explore free agency before the season started and didn't want to resign to the team that gave him a second chance and starting position at catcher.Well it seems that the Karma Train has caught up with Mr. Napoli.  After verbally agreeing to a 3 year $39 million contract with the Red Sox, two words have haunted his dreams...  Pending Physical.

Durring the routine physical the Red Sox doctors discovered that Napoli suffers from a chronic hip condition that never was discovered since he has been playing in the Major Leagues.  So now, six weeks after the original agreement and extensive negotiations, Napoli has agreed to a one year $5 million dollar contract.  $34 million dollars lighter, the Texas Rangers surely wish the best of luck to him...
