MTV Birthday – Buggles – Video Killed the Radio Star

Hey Gang,

I think we all remember when a new network called MTV started.  For me, I had to fine tune the TV to pick it up, and once I did I was hooked.  I thought it was the best thing ever!  These days, when you say you used to watch MTV for the videos people look at you like you're strange, because either you're a delusional lunatic, or you're really old.  Maybe a little of both.  We'll it's MTV's birthday today, and looking at it, 32 years later, it feels like a child, who had so much promise, ending up on skid row.  Now a flashback to the beginning.
