Mother Earth News Fair Happening This Weekend Bell County Expo

This weekend marks year three of the Mother Earth News Fair at the Bell County Expo Center.

It was back in 2016 that we were all pleasantly surprised by the level of success the Mother Earth News Fair had here in Central Texas. Seems a lot of people wanted to learn a little something about living off the grid, or just living a little greener and healthier.

Well, it's back again this weekend, and they have over 150 workshops lined up for you, as well as informative demonstrations and lectures to educate and entertain.

Spotlight speakers include Rosemary Gladstar, Sage Mountain Herbs, Howard Garrett, Dirt Doctor, and Jill Nussinow, The Veggie Queen.

Of course, you can still walk around and check out all the vendors, both regional and national, featuring sustainable lifestyle products and services including books, seeds, tools, organic foods, clothes, tractors, solar gadgets, and more.

And don't forget about the power of poultry. Come in Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an intense chicken experience.

Of course what we really need to see is how to make fake replica guns. That way we can turn those in when the government comes to take our real guns away. Boy will they be surprised when they come to take our homes and land after that.
