Does this guy know the state capitol is open during the week?

A man from the Dallas area, 22-year-old Tanner Christian Graeber, has been arrested for breaking into the state capitol building Sunday and damaging a portrait of a former governor. No it wasn't Rick Perry or George W. Bush, those were the first names which flashed through my mind when I heard this story.

According to KXAN-TV, it seems the young man vandalized a portrait of a governor who served about four months in office over 150 years ago. His name was Fletcher Stockdale, and he served in 1865 from May until August of that year.

I'm wondering if Stockdale's was the only portrait the accused had time to vandalize before he was nabbed by an on-duty officer. If it wasn't, what was the big statement Graber was trying to make by his actions?
