If you're still lucky enough to treat your mother, than make it a cookie treat this Sunday.

Yea. If I were home this weekend I'd be making this for Mom. It's also true that I'd be making it mostly for me, but then, I'm a selfish ass.

It's also true that I got my love for chocolate, and cookies, from my Mom, so its only fair that I enjoy it along with her.

Get the bowls out, and get to mixing up some sugary heaven.

Toss in a cup of butter.

3/4 cup sugar.

1 cup brown sugar.

Mix it up then add one egg, plus a yolk, then stir/mix.

Splash in a TSP of Vanilla Extract.

2 cups flour, stir with a wooden spoon.

At this point you're going to need to get out some saran wrap, and spoon in on spoonful of the mix. Smash it down even with your hands, then wrap up cookie dough. Repeat this process 3 times. Then take all three wrapped cookie dough patties and put them in the fridge for an hour.

Chop up some chocolate.

After the cookie dough has chilled. Lay out some flour and place one of the unwrapped slabs of cookie dough on the flour. Cover it with a layer of chopped up chocolate. Place another unwrapped slab of dough on top of it. More chocolate. Place the final piece of dough on top and begin to roll it out as flat as you can.

Now grab a cookie cutter and cut out some cookies. Place on a pan. Toss in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cool, and enjoy.
