Get your candy bucket ready and don your spookiest costume, because Temple's Main Street Fright Fest is back.

Head to Downtown Temple Thursday, October 31st from 5 PM to 8:30 PM for the annual Halloween festivities. There'll a costume contest on the plaza stage, free activities and treats for the kiddies, food and craft vendors, face painting, and more.

The Main Street Fright Fest is a family friendly, safe event for all ages put on by the City of Temple and Discover Downtown Temple.

Also, don't forget to enter your pet in Discover Downtown Temple's Pet Photo Costume Contest. All you have to do is upload a picture of your pet in their spookiest duds to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #MainStFF. Be sure the photo is set to Public. You can also upload a photo here. The deadline to enter is October 24.
