MAD Magazine To No Longer Be Sold In Newsstands After 67 Years
Come August you will no longer see one of the most iconic magazines in your local newsstand. MAD Magazine will not be available after it's August issue.
You will still be able to pick up MAD in comic shops and through mail to subscribers, but it will all be old material. The only content will come at the end of the year in specials editions of previously published magazines.
The magazine has been around 67 years and is easily recognizable with its mascot, Alfred E. Neuman with his big ole gap in his teeth. It influenced many with its wild humor not afraid to go after anyone.
I'll be honest I haven't picked up a magazine or have been subscribed to anything in years. But I do miss it, nothing like holding on and reading from some paper.
