There are two new fast-food chains who want to move to West Temple. Popeyes & Arby's. The Temple City Council is one step closer to letting it happen.

The proposal to add the restaurants to West Adams Avenue would have to pass a second reading at a June 7 City Council meeting in order to be approved.

Whataburger, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Freddy's, Subway, Pizza Hut, and many more are already part of chain restaurant row on West Adams Avenue. Now you may be able to add Louisiana Chicken to the growing list.

The Temple Daily Telegram wrote that there is a spot near Holy Trinity High School that has been selected as the spot for both new restaurants. Temple has been without a Popeyes since the previous location on the H.K. Dodgen Loop closed more than ten years ago.
