Los Lobos Goes to Number One With “La Bamba”

Hey Gang,

Today was a big day in the life of Los Lobos.  They remade the Ritchie Valens' hit from 1959, "La Bamba", and it went to number one on this day in 1987.  It was the title track to the movie about Ritchie, which starred Young Gun Lou Diamond Phillips.  Of course you can see Lou in the A&E hit "Longmire".  You can also see Lou Diamond in the video by Los Lobos.
