Lay’s Releases Chocolate Dipped Chips

Hey Gang,

Bad news for people addicted to sugar and salt.  Lays is releasing the Kracken!  Milk Chocolate covered Wavy Lays will be the death of us all.

Our only saving grace is that Lays has decided to lay the chocolate smack down on an inferior chip.  The Wavy Ruffled Lays chip has too much salt and pails in comparison to the Classic Lays chip, which, personally, I believe is potato perfection.

If they decided to cover those in chocolate, then that would've been proof positive that we do live in the Matrix.

The next question I would like Lays to answer is why?  Why release these so soon after  they just wrapped up a Do Us A Flavor "voter" campaign to find the "new" flavor.    Could it be that Lays is admitting to what I already believe, that the new flavors are not that good?

I tried them all and the flavors have a nice idea, but I felt that they came across as two "chemical".  Plus, be honest, can you see anyone eating a whole bag of Chicken & Waffles and not getting physically sick?  The winning flavor, Cheesy Garlic Bread, is an amazing thought, but the flavor is a miss.

Do we expect much out of the Chocolate Lays?  Tough to say, since Lays seems a bit skeptical.  They're only releasing the product to Target stores.  I'll be sure to let know what taste results are, as soon as I run to Target.
