The 9th Annual Belton Kiwanis Turtle Festival was held April 30 in downtown Belton's Yetti Polk Park. The festival is a fundraiser to help fund service, leadership, and scholarship opportunities for children. Visitors were catered to many free activities to include mechanical bull rides, petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, and barrel train rides. Over 40 exhibitors provided information on surrounding businesses. The popular festival snow cones and funnel cakes were available to help satisfy all the young at heart.
