If you are one of the few people who like children, you could get a job out of it.

It seems that there's a group of people out there that actually seem to like children, and even want to do nice things for them. And that's after you hear about a story of kids choking out an old lady and stealing her car after she gave them a ride to Whataburger.

If you're one of those, turn the other cheek types, you just might be able to make a living at it.

Killeen ISD is looking to hire around 500 new teachers. It seems that student enrollment is expected to exceed 45,500. Let that sink in for a moment. Frightening.

The district will hold a job fair at the Harker Heights High School from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on March 30 to recruit teachers and special education professionals.

Just so you know, Killeen ISD is the largest school district in the region with schools in Killeen, Ft. Hood, Harker Heights and Nolanville.

The district offers new teachers $47,000 salary and a benefits package that includes health, dental, disability and life insurance.

Candidates can learn more about eligibility and register for the job fair online.

Check out the Killeen ISD website for available positions.
