Regardless of format, 101.7 in Central Texas has long been home for great Friday night football.  Maybe it's because I've done a majority of the play-by-play for the station during that time, but I think KLTD has had the best play-by-play in Central Texas for the past decade.

This fall K 101-7 will once again be the home of Copperas Cove football.  Central Texas radio vet Joe Lombardi will handle the play-by-play while Russ Cochran handles the color.  New this year to the broadcast is Danni Ehlert patrolling the sidelines giving updates throughout the game.

In addition to another year of Dawg football, K 101-7 is the proud new home of University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders football.  As the Cru' opens their brand new stadium, K 101-7 will serve as the new radio home for one of D-III's most dominant programs.  Keep up to date on all the latest UMHB football news with the Coaches show, aired every Tuesday at 6:30 on our sister station, Newsradio 1400 KTEM.

Also on our Central Texas network of stations catch Temple High School football every Friday night on Newsradio 1400 KTEM.  I'll bring you the play-by-play, and Gene Pemberton will be on color.  Pregame times for Wildcats football is 7pm each Friday night.
