Ice Cream Update: Halo Top Launches New Low-Cal Flavors

Earlier this week, I posted about H-E-B now selling the lower calorie, lower carb Light Ice Cream brand known as Halo Top. The newer Temple store and the Belton location both carry the very delicious frozen joy. I reviewed four flavors personally, with Birthday Cake being named the most magical concoction in "diet" foods.

Well, they must have known I was jonesing for more because mid-week, Halo Top announced these new flavors:

Black Cherry*
Chocolate Almond Crunch
Cookies & Cream*
Cookie Dough*
Oatmeal Cookie Pistachio
Peanut Butter Cup*
Red Velvet*
S'mores
Sea Salt Caramel*

Oh my! No less than SIX of these are among my personal favorite ice cream flavors of all time. It's as if they read my mind or at least my tweets.

So far, none of the new flavors are listed on the H-E-B website. That's okay because I haven't tried all of the original flavors, including Strawberry and Lemon Cake, which I am very eager to try.
