Police in Humble, Texas say a 15-year-old who fled from officers and deputies aboard an all-terrain vehicle for almost an hour Thursday streamed the pursuit on Snapchat.

According to KPRC, it started around 9:30 AM Thursday when someone reported a four-wheeler driving illegally on the streets of Humble. A traffic sergeant spotted the vehicle near Humble High School and tried to stop the driver.

The driver sped off, and the chase was on.

Police lost sight of the teen for a bit when he drove into some swampland, but Humble police rejoined the chase along with DPS troopers and deputies from both Harris and Montgomery Counties.

Due to the low max speed of the ATV and the speed limits of the highways on which they pursued it, police slowed their chase for safety reasons, and the suspect led them on a chase for almost an hour before stopping and surrendering.

According to the Associated Press, Humble police later confirmed that a video that surfaced on Snapchat of a teen aboard an ATV with police behind him was the suspect in this case.

KTRK reports that the teen has been charged with felony evading.
