Here’s How to Make Dirt Cake
We have a Halloween Lunch today at work. So I decided to make some Dirt.
I didn't want to make anything that required me using the oven, so Dirt is perfect. There's nothing to cook. You just mix and mix and mix, then mix some more. As long as you don't forget the worms, you're all good.
Here's what you'll need to start.
What you don't see is the Half Cup Butter, 8oz Cream Cheese & 14oz Cool Whip. You're gonna need the whip. The main "dirt" is Oreo cookies. I went with the peanut butter flavor. I felt it would create a more earthy feel.
Start by mixing the Cream Cheese, Soft Butter, and 1/4 oz Vanilla Extract.
Whip it good, then set aside. Now you want to combine your two small instant pudding mixes with 3 cups of milk. I chose the Mounds and Cheesecake flavors. And went with the Almond Milk.
You then fold in 14oz of Cool Whip. Fold it good.
Once you fold in the Cool Whip, mix in the Cream Cheese and Butter. You'll then need to crush the Oreo's. These will be the two things you need to make the cake.
Now you layer the two in your container. I chose this, because, well, you know.
Now once you throw down some Oreos, you throw in some goop. Then you add...stuff. I went with Worms, Mud, and Treasure. Repeat.
Once you get it all added together, you put it in the fridge overnight. Then, maybe someone will eat it.
