It's National Nurses week, and H-E-B is showing appreciation for our frontline heroes by delivering plants and bouquets to keep their spirits up.

The Texas grocery giant announced on its website that they are partnering with delivery service Favor to gift more than 4,000 beautiful plants and floral bouquets to nurses all across Texas.

HEB launched an effort earlier this week, encouraging Texans to show their appreciation and nominate nurses at more than 20 hospitals across the state. Starting on National Nurses Day and continuing throughout this week, HEB will surprise nurses with floral bouquets and plants, which will be delivered by Favor Runners.

This announcement comes on the heels of an HEB donation of nearly 80,000 meals to hospitals across Texas to feed doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.

HEB has also donated more than 140 truckloads of product to Texas food banks throughout the crisis, totaling nearly 8.5 million meals.

This is why us Texans will always love and adore HEB.
