Harker Heights PD Searching For Bush’s Chicken Shooting Suspect

The Harker Heights Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in apprehending an 18 year old suspect wanted for a shooting incident at a local Bush's Chicken.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Marquis Deon Henderson for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon stemming from a shooting that happened on January 22nd.

According to Harker Heights Police, at approximately 7:30PM, officers responded to a shooting at Bush’s Chicken located at 250 Commercial Drive.

One victim with obvious gunshot wounds was transported by ambulance to Scott and White Hospital where he continues to be treated for his injuries.

The Criminal Investigation Division is requesting assistance from the public in identifying two persons of interest involved in this incident.

Meanwhile, according to our partners at News 10, the owner of the restaurant is also encouraging anyone with information to come forward and went on to say that on Feb. 8 the store will donate 10% of its profits for the day to the Texas Crime Victims’ Compensation Fund.
