Two men walk into a Cracker Barrel in Lincoln, Neb., and ask to be seated in the section with the grumpiest server so that they can make him or her laugh.

No it’s not a joke, (not according to the (Lincoln Star Journal). I sure hope it's true cause it really sounds like these two guys did a very nice thing.

Anyway, what restaurant is going to admit to having a grumpy waiter? The two were seated in the happiest waitress’ section. That would be 18-year-old Abigail Sailors.

She’s happy now even though she started off with pretty crappy childhood.  Her mother was incapacitated by a car crash when Abigail was a baby, and she and her four siblings were sent to a foster home because their Dad was unfit.

According to the story in the Lincoln paper, Abigail says she and her siblings were abused in foster care then eventually split up and placed in different foster homes .
They were apart for nine years, before reuniting in a new foster home with The Sailors family who were the nicest people ever.

Abigail told all this to the two customers who just got all up in her business.
She also told them she had just finished her first semester at North Dakota's Trinity Bible College, but because of financial problems she had to skip next semester. It could be worse and that was why she was so happy.

Well these were no ordinary customers they were men on a mission.

One of them happened to be a Trinity alum, he wrote Abigail a $5,000 tuition check, plus gave her another $1,000 for whatever else she needed.  He also left a $100 tip, which Abigail split with another server.

"I couldn't believe it," Abigal said. "I tried to thank them, and they said, 'Thank God.' "

The Happiest Waitress at Cracker Barrel now has 6050 more reasons to be happy.
