I have heard some crazy things in my life, but a 65 year old German woman is now pregnant, with quadruplets! She did not come by those babies naturally.

Annegret Raunigk is a teacher in Germany. She already has 13 kids, and seven grandchildren.  Her kids range in age from 9 to 44. Annegret told German broadcaster RTL  that she decided to have another child after her youngest child, asked for a younger sibling.  (Hmm, how did she get pregnant with that kid at age 55?)

After going through artificial insemination several times, Annegret became pregnant with four embryos.  The doctor said he could get rid of three of them, but she said no.

Right now, at 21 weeks, Annegret says she feels fine.  She is about to retire, so how is she going to pay for these children? Well, she will get a pension, and her story is set to be made into a TV documentary.

Annegret defended her decision to get pregnant at 65 saying, ‘I think one needs to decide for oneself and not listen too much to the opinions of others. (Her way of telling me to SHUT UP!)

Let's give her our opinion anyway. I think she is too old to have babies. I am just thinking about the poor kids.  When they are 10 she will be 75!   Unless she gets a live in nanny, I believe that 9 year old is going to be taking care of those babies. What do you think?
