Fort Hood officials have released the identity of a man whose body was found in Harker Heights Monday.

In a news release issued Wednesday, the man was identified as 27-year-old Pfc. Brandon Scott Rosecrans of Kimberling City, Missouri. He entered service in May of 2018 as a quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer, and was assigned to Fort Hood's 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division in November of 2018.
