Free Storm Debris Drop-Off in Lampasas

If you live in Lampasas and your yard is a mess after those storms rolled through Sunday evening, we've got some good news: you can dispose of the debris at the city's collection center for free this week.

The Citizen Collection Center at 201 Brown Street will take that stuff off your hands to hopefully help get your life back to normal a little more quickly.

Rickie Roy, Public Works Director with the City of Lampasas, tells us the gates of the center will be open for free drop-off Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.

The free drop-off is only open to private residents of Lampasas. Contractors will be charged for drop-off, even if they are working for a resident to clear debris.

Brush, limbs, roofing materials, and other storm-related debris are welcome.

Normal operating hours for the Citizen Collection Center are 10 AM to 3 PM, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and Saturday 9 AM to Noon.
