Free COVID-19 Testing In Copperas Cove August 19th

If you are starting to come down with symptoms of COVID-19, which by the way, is still an ongoing pandemic here in Central Texas and across the country, you will have the opportunity to get tested this week.

We received word from Copperas Cove Deputy Fire Chief Gary Young that another COVID-19 mobile test collection site is coming back to Copperas Cove on Wednesday August 19th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Copperas Cove Fire Department located at 415 South Main Street.

To be eligible for a free COVID-19 test, a person should be exhibiting one or more of the following symptoms:

• Fever and/or chills
• Cough (dry or productive)
• Fatigue
• Body aches/muscle or joint pain
• Shortness of breath
• Sore throat
• Headaches
• Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
• Nasal congestion
• Loss of taste and/or smell
