Fort Hood Job Fair: Event on Post Wed, Thu

Those in the armed services near the end of their commitment, help is on the way if you're  looking to transition to the private sector.

A two-day job fair at Fort Hood will be held Wednesday and Thursday, April 6-7, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Day 1 will be at the Phantom Warrior Center on Post; Day 2 will be at Club Hood on Post. The event is open to transitioning military, Veterans, military family members, as well as civilians.

According to organizers, mix of Fortune 500 and local military-friendly companies will be present. Job seekers may register at the door, although military and prior military are encouraged to take advantage of an online pre-matching process. This process is designed to help a company’s representatives to meet the attendees whose backgrounds offer the best fit for their positions. Attendees may pre-register at civilianjobs.com which allows them to upload their resume and stay up-to-date with any job offers.
