A former Temple High School employee faces serious charges after an alleged improper relationship with a student.

Bell County Jail records indicate that 35-year-old Seanna Kathleen Williams was booked at 2 PM Wednesday, July 31 and charged with two second degree felony counts of improper relationship between and educator and student. She remained in the Bell County Jail Thursday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000.

Responding to our request for more information, Temple Police Department Media Relations Specialist Cody Weems reported that the department was made aware of the allegations on April 9, 2019 and immediately informed Temple ISD officials. Temple PD's Criminal Investigation Division gathered evidence and referred the case to the Bell County District Attorney's Office.

The Bell County Grand Jury received the case Wednesday and handed down the indictments. Williams was taken into custody later that day.

The Temple Daily Telegram's Deborah McKeon reports that Williams was a graphic design teacher at Temple High School.
