Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs Partners with Golden Chick

Not all is lost with the cancellation of The State Fair of Texas. You can still spend big to do the Big Tex Drive Thru, or just head to Golden Chick for a Fletcher's Original Corny Dog.

Fletcher's and Golden Chick have partnered up for a limited time to offer those beautifully crafted, always delicious, famous corny dogs at 187 Golden Chicks in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

KXXV, Channel 25 reports that Fletcher's has been a staple of the State Fair of Texas for the past 78 years. They've done several pop up events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and will now offer their corny dogs statewide at Golden Chick.

"The Golden Chick team has been working diligently alongside us to ensure they are providing the same hand-battered, made-to-order product our fans expect," Fletcher's said on Facebook.

You'll find those famous corny dogs on the menu at Golden Chick through October 25. Check out this map to find a Golden Chick in your patch of Central Texas.

Of course, if you're looking to get the full State Fair of Texas food experience (minus the State Fair, of course; thanks, COVID-19), you can head to the aforementioned Big Tex Fair Food Drive-Thru. Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow (Wed., Aug 2) at BigTex.com, so be sure to snag yours if you're dying to try this year's fair food.
