Fast Times Hit the Movie Theaters on This Day 33 Years Ago

The best "Coming of Age" movies are the ones that come out when it's you who is coming of age.

For me, one the all time best hit the movie theaters on this day in 1982. "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". I still have a crush on Jennifer Jason Leigh to this day. It was an all around fun movie, before PC took over. It also was a launching point for some of the biggest actors in the last 30 years.

In case you forgot who was all in it, lets refresh. Future Academy Award Winners Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage and Forest Whitaker. Then there also was Anthony Edwards, Eric Stoltz, Ray Walston and Judge Reinhold.

Judge Reinhold was part of the most epic scene in cinematic history. He was the disturbing part, but without him, we wouldn't have this.

If it wasn't for that scene the movie would've been dominated, even more that it was, by Sean Penn and his "Spicoli" character. Every stoner imitation created past 1982 was influenced by this guy.
