The Flying Vikings is a great Central Texas organization that takes disabled and chronically ill children on plane rides absolutely free.  It’s no ordinary plane ride, once they get in the air the kids get to take control.

The organization was started by Paul Hansen, and he gets all these pilots to donate their time and planes.  He pays for the fuel.

Of course it takes money to make this happen, so this Saturday, you can help and have fun at the same time.  Bring the kids out for the Flying Vikings car, motorcycle and aircraft show.

It happens at the Temple airport, Sept 27 from 9 am to 2 pm.  It only costs a dollar to get in and there’s lots of free stuff for kids to do.  Bouncy houses, face painting,  arts and crafts, rock wall climbing.  Lots of cars, motorcycles and aircraft to see. Maybe fire truck rides!

When you get hungry most food and drink is just a buck too.

Paul Hansen stopped in and told us what would be going on.

Bring the kids out to Temple Airport this Saturday, Sept 27, from 9 – 2.  You will have a good time for a great cause.
