ELP’s “Karn Evil 9″ could soon be a Sci-Fi Movie

This sounds pretty cool especially if you're a Emerson, Lake and Palmer fan. Deadline is reporting the the guy who produced Jumanji is looking to develop a movie about the epic ELP song "Karn Evil 9" from the classic 1973 release "Brain Salad Surgery."

Daniel H. Wilson, who is a New York Times bestselling author, has been hired on to develop the screenplay so it sounds like this is a serious project.

Take a listen to the song and listen to the lyrics. The idea would be pretty cool but you know how this goes, the movie is never as good as the book. Will this movie be as good as the song? We'll have to wait and see but I'm pretty excited about it. If this idea works out, what other songs could be turned into movies?
