Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States has scheduled a series of fundraisers in Texas for the middle of this month.

According to a report in the Dallas Morning News, Trump will visit Dallas on Thursday, June 16, then both San Antonio and Houston on Friday, June 17.

Details are currently vague. Both the Morning News and Austin-American Statesman blogs say they have reached out to the Trump camp with no response. We have contacted them as well with no response. (Boy, you think you know some people!)

What we do know according to the published reports is the primary purpose of the trip. Trump is coming to shake the donors' trees and see what falls out. Two experienced Texas GOP fundraisers in their own right are reported to be leading the charge: Dallas businessmen Ray Washburne, Chair of  and Roy Bailey, an insurance mogul who is now Managing Director for Giuliani Partners (as in, yes, that Giuliani who is also a major Trump ally.)

More on this as it develops.
