Dolly is the Pet of the Week
We had our first Chiweenie visit this week. A Chiweenie is a Chihuahua / Dachshund mix, and this ones name is Dolly.
Dolly is about 18 months old. She is spayed and house trained. She knows how to walk on a leash and ride quietly in a car. This doggy is a people pleaser. Dolly was so happy to see everyone here at the station, she walked up to everybody for a pat on the head. Even though she is a bit overweight, Dolly was ready to run and play.
When it came to lap time she was content to lay there and be petted. Dolly will fit in with just about any family. Give her some kids to play with and that weight will drop off in no time.
Stop by the Temple Animal Shelter, (620 Mama Dog Circle), for a visit with Dolly. They have two play areas, so bring a ball, maybe she will go get it for you. There are plenty of dogs of all sizes to choose from, and plenty of cats too.
Of course you don't have to adopt from the Temple Animal Shelter, visit the shelter or Animal Rescue facility in your town. Rescue Magazine can help you find the shelter in your area.
