Trying to name the worst fashion trend of the 1980s may be impossible due to the terrible styles we saw throughout the decade.  We remember the new age punk/pop with their Marty-McFly-of-the-future look, but Dexy's Midnight Runners also left their mark on 80s fashion.

The neo-farm boy look that Dexy's Midnight Runners brought with them to MTV in 1982 never caught on, but it wasn't for a lack of effort.  Mute the volume as you watch the video and it could almost seem like an episode of The Andy Griffith Show set in jolly ol' England.
