Coach Bob McQueen chats with Gene Pemberton

On this Christmas Day, we thought we'd share with you a great gift for the Temple football fan. Last week during the state championship halftime, our old friend Gene Pemberton chatted with the legendary Wildcat football coach Bob McQueen.

Our entire wildcat broadcast crew had a listen to this pre-recorded interview before it aired, and when I tell you they were awestruck I'm not at all overstating the case. Coach McQueen remains a great football mind and he recognizes the differences in the game in the decades in which he first coached.  It's great to hear both coach and Gene as engaged in today's game as they were way back when.

I know both of these gentlemen would want us to focus on the real reason for the season. Now that the Festivities are winding down and everybody is looking for something enjoyable to do while relaxing, I say slip on the headphones and give this a listen. Merry Christmas!
