If your teen is laying about this summer constantly asking for money, tell them to get a JOB and send them over to this post or share this on their social media. Good luck with Tik Tok.

Anyway, The City of Killeen sent us a press release letting it be known that dozens of lifeguard positions are still available for students age 16 and older this summer as the summer swim season opens back up.

Long Branch Pool will open on Friday and the Family Aquatics Center is scheduled to open in mid-July, and city pools stay open through Labor Day. Your teen can earn $9 per hour while ensuring the safety of swimmers and upholding pool rules. They will also assist in pool and facility maintenance.

Applicants must be able to pass a swim test to be considered. American Red Cross Lifeguard and Water Park certifications are required by start date, and the City can assist applicants in becoming certified.
