CineMark Comes To Temple
CineMark, The Best Seat in Town, will open it's new 12 screen movie theatre Friday, December 20th. It'll make going to the movies fun again with a state of the art entertainment experience.
All 12 theatres will feature all digital, wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling screens, along with Cinemark's NextGen Cinema Design. There will also be an XD Auditorium, Extreme Digital Cinema. It has the new Auro Sound System. The sound alone has a whole rack of receivers/servers for one theatre.
They're only 4 theaters in the nation with it. It features speakers in the ceiling to give you a complete surround sound experience. Plus, nine of the 12 auditoriums will be RealD 3D capable. Turns out, all the movie projector needs is a device that slides in front to produce the amazing 3D look.
Opening weekend, Cinemark will offer a coupon for free popcorn and drink if you bring in canned food for their food drive that supports Food for Families. The coupon will be good through the end of January. The lobby, which was just getting finished Wednesday afternoon, will be a cafeteria style. Yes, they will have beer and wine available once the liquor license is approved.
Movies themselves no longer come on film. It's all digital. This is the new Hobbit movie.
The Cinemark Theatre is just of Northbound I-35 in Temple (4501 South General Bruce Drive), and it's definitely worth a look. Plus, the seats fit fat people. Finally I can go back to the movies.
