Charlie Throckmorton Talks PBR History Ahead of the Central Texas State Fair

The Central Texas State Fair begins August 30th at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas!

The fair opens on August 30th with FREE Admission and $1 carnival rides plus a FREE concert from Josh Ward!

PBR is back on Saturday and Sunday at the Central Texas State Fair. On Thursday at the Central Texas State Fair sponsor's lunch, we got to listen to Charlie Throckmorton talk a little about the history of PBR and its growth over the last 20 years.

Charlie has been the rodeo voice in Belton since the late 80's. He was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2007 and has been a part of majors like the 1991 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, PBR World Finals in Vegas, National Steer roping finals, the Texas PRCA Circuit Finals Rodeo, the Dodge National Circuit Finals, X-treme National Bullriding Finals, as well as the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
