Paramedics rescued Cierra Page of Harker Heights from a tanning bed in Killeen Saturday, May 11, only to arrest her after finding meth in her purse.

KWTX News 10 shared the story of Page's arrest this week. I'm sure it's not the first time they have rescued someone only to find out they are high as all getout. Curious that the notes in the arrest affidavit say Page was in jail in lieu of $50,000 bond charged with possession of a controlled substance more than four ounces but less than 200 ounces.

Who walks into a tanning salon with four ounces of meth in their purse? Ya might leave it in the trunk, no? This also begs the question, did she get stuck in the tanning bed because she was high on meth? Who smokes meth and then thinks, "I could use some tanning time"? This is why the old "this is your brain on drugs commercial" was always so easy to understand. That old egg in the frying pan is still on point.

So the paramedics got her out of the tanning bed only to find a spoon sticking out of her purse. Cops recognized it and did a field test on the substance. It was meth.
