Darrin and myself talk a lot about comedy stars from the 60s and 70s. We both see the Time Life commercials late at night and we comment on how great those comedians were, and how there stuff still holds up today.

One of my favorites is Bob Newhart. Even though I was never a real big fan of his TV shows, I loved his comedy LP's. In fact, Bob had the number one album on this day in 1961.

"Oh High! Your first time jumping off a ledge?"

His one sided conversation style was something that caught my ear at a young age, and it's been something I've been trying to duplicate ever since. This routine about jumpers in Chicago, and a policemen who tries to talk him off of it, is priceless.
