KWTX reports that hundreds of bikers gathered in Killeen Sunday to ride along 190 to Lampasas. Their goal was to raise awareness about safety and help reduce the number of motorcycle accidents and fatalities.

The ride is part of an event held every spring as riders have become increasingly concerned over the number of motorcycle related accidents in the area during the spring and summer months. It's a sad truth that 1 person is killed each day in Texas in a motorcycle related accident.

The "Do you see me now bike run" has been an annual event since 2011.
