Well look at this:

Friends, it doesn't get much better than this.

None of these Texas teams were ranked. Notre Dame, Oklahoma and UCLA all were going in. The Texas opponents worked just a little bit harder.  No Goliath Can withstand a perfectly-thrown stone.

As for Baylor, after all the controversy of the recent unpleasantness, they needed a victory. The small school from the northern half of Louisiana provided such an opportunity.  LSU uses them for much the same purpose (and they need it now.) The victory was so presumed and the result so lopsided, the press continues to wonder how Baylor will face under a more serious photo. To be continued.

The University of Houston Cougars have now taken the spotlight. They're a team on the move, hopefully to the Big 12 as is their desire, allegedly. Tulsa TV coverage  let's see how the other half lives after a game doesn't go their way.

Have you noticed that there was a game on Friday, multiple games on Saturday which is judicial, and now this Sunday matchup between Notre Dame and the University of Texas. Once upon a time, Sunday was the exclusive domain of the NFL. Likewise, Friday night lights denotes high school football. And Saturday was all about the NCAA. Now those lines are blurred. Excitement however cannot be contained.
