Here are some of the idiots that graced our news this past week.

Stupidity started early. From Georgia we heard about a woman who got aggressive because she had to wait 5 minutes for a pie.

She ended up paying $1.06 for the pie. $837 dollars for a disorderly conduct citation, plus her car was towed.

Jesus woman. Wait the 5 minutes. It's not like you were going to eat it right away anyway. It takes a good 5 minutes for it to cool.

I read about a man in New York who was arrested for shooting down a drone. It seems some idiot lost his dog and sent his drone to look for it.

Gerald Chasteen was hit with a field appearance ticket for charges of third-degree criminal mischief and prohibited use of a weapon by the  Suffolk County police. Similar charges of shooting a drone out of your sky were dismissed in Kentucky in 2015 & 2016. Sorry, but if you're flying a drone over my house, and you don't have a warrant, that S.O.B. is coming down.

Let's talk about Virginia. Do you think they're a bit racial sensitive of late due to black-face and sexual harassment? You bet your ass they are. A bill that would make it illegal to hold a cell phone while driving failed to pass due to the fact the "lawmakers" thought the police could use the law to racial profile people. Lovely. Explain that to a parent whose kid just got run over and killed because some idiot was chatting up his side piece on the cell phone.

Also this week North Carolina is trying to become the Mississippi of the East Coast. It was reported that the North Carolina General Assembly is considering House Bill 145,

It would drastically change the grading curve. You might remember your time in school where you failed if you didn't get about a 60. Well if this thing passes a 60 would be a solid "C".  An "F" grade would be changed to anything below 40 percent.

The new scale to grade the schools would be changed:

  • A: 100 to 85 percent
  • B: 84 to 70 percent
  • C: 69 to 55 percent
  • D: 54 to 40 percent
  • F: 39 percent and below

If adopted, the grading scale would take effect for the 2019-20 school year.

Exoctic BBQ anyone? Patches the Giraffe was put down this past week due to old age. Question. Does giraffe meat work like a fine wine, meaning, does it get better with age?

Patches was 31. Giraffes normally live 25 years. Good on ya' Patches.
