If you have a junior or senior in high school or a college student and you want to make sure that they are ready for the workforce, make sure they attend AYADD Outreach's October Career Workshop for some great information to help them get prepared.

The workshop takes place Saturday, October 20, from 9:00 AM until Noon at AYADD Outreach Center located at 1109 Dogwood Boulevard in Killeen (next to the old Killeen airport). The workshop will help high school juniors and seniors, as well as college students, learn how to prepare for a job interview, prepare a resume and get career advice from professional career coach Mrs. Cortina Merritt and Killeen Police Chief Charles Kimble.

There are a few requirements: Open to 11th & 12th graders or college students, you must bring your own laptop, thumb drives will be provided by AYADD and seating is VERY LIMITED. If you have a student that wants to attend, call 254-285-4282 or email a message with your name and contact information to ayaddoutreach@yahoo.com.
