Armadillo Day in Texas: What’s Coming in the Weather

While the rest of the country turns its eyes and ears to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and their name sake Groundhog Day representative, in Texas we have a new tradition: Armadillo Day!

Like his meteorological colleague in Pennsylvania, Bee Cave Bob of the greater Texas armadillo family is also in the business of predicting the weather. Yet that's for the similarity ends: he called for an early spring which is the exact inverse of what Phil the groundhog said was going to happen. Maybe that's the big difference in geography between down here and up there.
