Get the kids ready, because Temple's Annual Movies in the Park series returns to Miller Park (1919 N. 1st Street) Saturday, May 27th!

This Saturday's Movie in the Park is the animated 'Moana', and it's sponsored by McLane Children's Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

The film is based on tales from Polynesian culture, and tells the story of an adventurous teenager who sets sail on a daring mission to save her people. Throw in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as demigod Maui, the girl's reluctant guide, and you've got animation gold.

'Moana' will be projected onto a 30 x 17 high definition screen with a sound system that rivals the indoor theaters.

The pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at sundown. Best of all, Movies in the Park is free and open to everyone. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
