The State With The Weirdest Accent Is Not From The South

If you've ever had to move cross country, or if you ever vacationed in a land very different from your own, you know that people think accents are funny.  Of course if you're laughing at someone with a "weird" accent, odds are high that they are laughing right back at you.  The survey is in and we now know who has the "Weirdest" Accent.

Business Insider reported the results and Massachusetts came out on top.  Those damn Yankees beat-out Louisiana, Alabama, Minnesota, and New York.  Here's an example of the accent from a news report about Whitey Bulger.

The rest of the top 10 were New Jersey, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Maine.
