Amazon’s Bezos Launches Recyclable Rocket From Texas

Well, this is impressive. Jeff Bezos is nothing if not ambitious. To think this started 20 years ago with selling books online.

The Amazon.com chairman also runs another company, Blueorigin.com.  The company, through tweets and other online posts, says they launched a rocket, New Shepard, from Van Horn, Texas this morning, returned it to the Earth, and is now back in the barn safe and sound.

We know everything's bigger in Texas but now thanks to the lack of regulation everything's faster too!

Online tech blog Gizmodo.com says the rocketeers intentionally crashed the crew capsule of the rocket, albeit softly, to measure how bad the damage would be if it actually happened. The writer says there was no damage.

Why Bezos is bankrolling this technology I don't know, but something tells me Amazon Prime is going to be even faster than first thought!
