A Retired Military Bomb Sniffer Needs a LIfe Saving Operation

Kay, a former military working dog who saved lives by sniffing out improvised explosive devices in Iraq and Afghanistan needs a 6 thousand dollar operation.  His retirement benefits don't cover that. 

So Kay's owner,Brandon Donahue took to the internet with a Go Fund Me plea.

Kay, an 8-year-old Labrador-pit bull mix, has a tumor on his heart, if he doesn't get that fixed it will eventually kill him.  You know animal lovers could not stand to see that happen.  Kay's Go Fund Me page has raised over 9 thousand dollars. The money will be used for the operation and other medical expenses.

Donahue was also Kay's military handler.  He says Kay served two tours of duty in Iraq, sniffing out IEDs, then did the same in Afghanistan before both retired to Colorado.
